The Lender Center for Social Justice is a University center promoting multi-disciplinary and dynamic collaborations that support the development of courageous and ethical scholars and citizens at Syracuse University who are committed to practices of social justice. Managed and housed in the Office of Academic Affairs, the Lender Center for Social Justice aspires to foster proactive, innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to issues related to social justice, equity and inclusion.

Meet the Team

Kendall Phillips

Director


Kendall R. Phillips is professor of communication and rhetorical studies. His work engages topics like public memory, popular film and popular culture.

Program Coordinator


Kate Schwartz serves as the primary point of contact for the Lender Center for Social Justice. In this role, she manages the day-to-day coordination and planning for center events.

Kira Reed

Sr. Research Associate


Kira Reed is a professor of management at the Whitman School of Management who leads diversity curriculum initiatives, co-directed social justice research, and studies the intersection of politics, gender, and corporate responsibility.

Corri Zoli

Research Associate


Corri Zoli is a faculty affiliate at the Forensic and National Security Sciences Institute and a co-investigator at the Intelligence Community Center of Excellence.
