The Lender Expo was created to provide local nonprofit organizations a space for purposeful dialogue, and sharing knowledge and experience, could be beneficial to local nonprofit organizations. The inaugural event in 2025 was a resounding success that laid the foundation for future convenings.

Each year, we build programming based on feedback from previous Expos and needs assessment surveys. Through workshops, panel discussions, and networking, organizations can strategize, collaborate, and share ideas on best ways to serve and support the diverse needs of our communities. The goal is to turn these ideas and connections into meaningful and impactful action.
Past workshops have covered topics like conflict de-escalation, mental health, grant writing, advocacy, and more. Panelists, presenters and funders have represented a wide range of sectors, and their varied perspectives have offered valuable insights into the nonprofit landscape of this region.
In addition to hands on workshops and professional development, the annual Lender Expo provides wonderful opportunities to connect with fellow CBOs. We’ve had over 100 organizations represented, with many choosing to table for additional engagement.
The Lender Expo is free to attend and to table. Your organization also has the option to be listed as a resource on our Lender Center website.

Where will the Expo take place?
We will be back at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown for our third year.
What is the theme of this year’s Lender Expo?
Collaboration in Practice. Our goal is to design programming that helps our nonprofit community meet challenges, develop strategies, and create strong collaborations.
What is the Collaboration Academy?
In addition to our usual mix of networking, roundtables and workshops, we will hold a connected series of workshops called “The Collaboration Academy," designed to walk through key issues and steps in building collaborations. Stay tuned—more details soon!
How much does it cost to attend the Lender Expo?
The Expo is FREE to attend, but you must register.
Will there be a Tabling/Exhibition room again this year?
Yes! This is a valuable component of the Expo, and we look forward to many local community-based organizations participating.
Is there a registration fee to Table?
No, Tabling is FREE but please remember that everyone must individually register so we have an accurate lunch count.
Each organization will be provided with a six foot table, two chairs, and table signage.
Tables need not be staffed at all times, and we encourage everyone to attend workshops, panels and discussions.
What time should I arrive to set up my table?
Please arrive on Tuesday, March 23 between 8-8:30 a.m. to make sure your table is ready for the start of the Expo at 9 a.m. Tables can remain until the end of the Lender Expo on Wednesday, March 24 at 1 p.m.
Will you be serving breakfast and lunch?
Yes, a complimentary light breakfast and lunch will be available to all registered attendees on both days. If you have any food allergies, please let us know on the registration form.
Where can I park?
FREE parking is available at the Marriott parking garage located at 100 Harrison Street, across from the hotel. Take a ticket upon entry to the garage and we will provide you with a parking waiver at the registration table. This sticker can be placed on your ticket to scan when you exit the garage.
